Linda helped me with decluttering and organizing my home in order to sell it. I could no longer comfortably stay in my home. My family wanted me to move to assisted living and I wasn’t ready for that lifestyle. I am so grateful I called The Neat Consultant because Linda saved me from Assisted Living by setting me up for successful living in an amazing apartment. Since then I have relied on her services several times for a variety of things such as helping me navigate through technology and managing paperwork.

Linda helped me clear out a large storage unit that held boxes from many periods in my life, as well as things from my parents and my children. We worked hard for 3 long days. Linda was very supportive and gentle, yet kept me moving along. I sorted, donated, trashed, and shredded a huge amount of “stuff.” She also helped me box up things to move to my basement–some of which still needs sorting. She also showed me some good tactics on how to clear things out. I had dreaded tackling this project, but Linda made it all happen. Such a relief–I went from a cluttered storage unit to uncluttered and saving money. I now know what I have and where it is! I highly recommend her!

Mom and I wanted to declutter. When motivation struck us, it soon disappeared, because we did not have a process to get the job done. It was truly affecting every part of our lives. We missed opportunities to be with family and friends and we didn’t feel comfortable about inviting folks to our home. If fact it would send us into a tailspin!

Everyone has a clutter comfort level. This was hers. If I had taken her to the next level, it would have been too much for her.
Joanne’s daughter lives a distance away and she had recently visited her mother. After seeing the amount of clutter in the dining room and kitchen, she knew it was too overwhelming for her mother to de-clutter in time for Thanksgiving dinner. She called me and I visited the lovely JoAnne. She showed me the clutter dining room and what she had accumulated to deal with the effects of Covid on her life. JoAnne has a greeting card hobby. She makes the most beautiful and thoughtful greeting cards, which she sends to all of her family and friends for all occasions. This hobby became her therapy. After dealing with the death of her best friend and family members, her surgery, and the isolation brought about by Covid, she made more cards than she could send and bought more supplies than she needed.
These are images of her dining room and the craft storage unit that was also in her dining room. She likes to work in the dining room because of all the natural light.
I telephoned JoAnne after Thanksgiving and learned that the family greatly enjoyed spending time with family and eating their Thanksgiving meal sitting around Mom’s table in her de-cluttered dining room.
I can’t thank Linda enough for de-cluttering my bedroom, closets and kitchen. Moving around is easier without fear of tripping over something. I am able to stretch out and sleep in the whole bed! My coats are easily accessible in my entry closet and the broken bookcase with the junk on top of it are curbside. All the clothes and shoes that I no longer had a use for, she brought to a charity of my choice and the clutter is gone from my closet and dresser. I even found a printer that I had forgotten I had under a pile of clothes. Linda’s methods were gentle but firm, so I was able to make decisions quickly. So, if you have overstuffed closets, de-clutter them. I highly recommend Linda to help you do the job right.
